Primary type information: Primary type material: 1 syntype worker, 1 syntype queen. Primary type locality: French Guiana: Cayenne (no collector’s name). Primary type depository: MNHN ? Type notes: 1) Latreille, 1802a: 200, says Pachycondyla crassinoda was described from specimens in the collection of Olivier. 2) Marcineiro & Lattke, 2024: 16, cites Latreille as collector and says that the worker is possibly lost due to Latreille collection fragmentation (Baker, 1994b).
