Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated, “a series”). Primary type locality: Brazil: Mato Grosso (now Rondônia), Madeira-Mamoré Railroad Company Camp 39 (284 km. from Porto Velho), 1911, (Stanford Expd.) (W.M. Mann). Primary type depositories: LACM, MCZC, MHNG. Type notes: Shattuck, 1994: 23, cites 24 worker syntypes (3 in LACM, 18 in MCZC, 3 in MHNG).
