Primary type material: 9 syntype males. Primary type locality: French Guiana (“Guyane française”): St Jean du Maroni (E. Le Moult). Primary type depositories: MHNG, MSNG, MZSP, NHMB (perhaps also MNHN). Primary type specimens: CASENT0911394; MZSP male with dissected genitalia: MZSPHYM0144344, MZSPHYM0144345.
Type notes:
1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 69, cites 3 male syntypes in NHMB. 2) Type locality not “Guinée française” as printed (= Guinea, West Africa). 3) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 152, the remaining syntypes should be in MNHN.
