Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: Bolton: 2 paratypes “in collection of Sr Mario Consani, Florence, Italy”, 1 paratype MCZC; specimen also in MRAC. Secondary type specimen: RMCAENT000017798 (MRAC). Type notes: Brown, 1950d: 44, also refers to a single specimen from Kenya: Elmenteita (S. Patrizi), which he excludes from the type-series.
