| Type notes | 1) This taxon is based on specimens of Monomorium carbonarium , sensu Forel, 1881: 8, misidentification. 2) A lectotype queen designated by DuBois, 1986: 106, is redundant as no queen is mentioned in the original type series, and the lectotype’s locality, St Vincent, does not occur in either of Forel’s publications (Forel, 1881, Forel, 1891c). |
