| Type notes | Except for Podomyrma kraepelini, all newly described taxa of Podomyrma in Forel, 1901m are stated as being “in my collection”. This led Taylor & Brown, 1985: 82, to suspect that the Podomyrma kraepelini holotype may have been retained in the Zoological Museum, Hamburg, and hence destroyed in World War II. |
