Type notes 1) Original type data: syntype workers (number not stated), Germany: Lousberg, nr Aachen, iv. (A. Foerster). 2) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 78, Foerster’s formicid types are in MNHU, but Seifert & Schultz, 2009b: 271, state that “According to our own search in German collections type material of Förster is completely destroyed”. 3) 7 workers from the same series as the neotype are in BFPC, NHMW, SMNG.
