| Etymology |
The species is named in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, in recognition of her profound interest in natural history and her significant contributions to the promotion of biodiversity conservation and environmental protection in Thailand, as well as to commemorate the occasion of her 70th birthday anniversary. |
