This is not type material (as was noted by Baroni Urbani, 1971d: 1043); the date is incorrect and in the original description Emery, 1869b states he has only “one specimen”. 2) Baroni Urbani, 1971d: 1043, cites as “neotypes” a worker, a queen and a male, from “Sirolo (Ancona)”. |
