Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype major and minor workers, syntype males (numbers not stated, “numerous”). Primary type locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): Kartabo, 21 and 31.viii.1920 (W.M. Wheeler). Primary type depositories: MCZC, MZSP, NHMB. Primary type specimen: CASENT0911369. Type notes: Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 68, cites 3 worker, 2 male syntypes in NHMB.
