Type notes: 1) Kusnezov, 1957e designated 2 holotypes (1 worker, 1 queen), hence designation redundant; the worker of these was cited as holotype by Cuezzo, 2000: 226; all are treated here as syntypes. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 92, cites 2 worker, 1 queen syntypes MCZC. 3) MZSP houses 7 paratype workers and 2 paratype queens.
