Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype male. Primary type locality: Mexico: Chiapas, Soconusco, 1120 m. (H. & H. Kulow). Primary type depository: MZSP. Primary type specimen: MZSPHYM0144902. Type notes: 1) Specimen originally described from Hamburg Museum. It was believed to have been destroyed in World War II. 2) Mônica Antunes Ulysséa says that the holotype is in MZSP.
