Primary type locality: Singapore: 1°17′35.0″N, 103°51′21.0″E, 1915, nests in dry, narrow, hollow bamboo, colony in the hollow branch of a mango tree. Primary type depositories: DEIC, MCZC, MSNG, NHMB, ZMHB.
