Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Mexico: Baja California Sur, 27 km. NE Todos Santos, 900 ft, 8-9.x.1975, no. 75-59 (R.R. Snelling). Type-depository: LACM. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 34 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for holotype. Paratype-depositories: AMNH, DRIR, LACM, MCZC, USNM.
