Type notes: Ward, 1989a: 445, and Ward, 1999b: 510, cite syntype workers and queens with the locality Guyana: Camaria, Cuyuni River (W.M. Wheeler); this does not agree with the locality in Enzmann, 1944’s original description (Kartabo) but duplicates the type locality of Pseudomyrmex triplaridis baileyi Wheeler, 1942.
