Primary type information: Primary type material: 1 syntype worker. Primary type locality: Panama: (no further data) (R.W. Stretch). Primary type depository: BMNH. Primary type specimen: CASENT0902868. Type notes: 1) Only a single specimen appears to have survived from Smith’s original “about twenty mature ants... all workers”. 2) Kempf, 1967c: 3, refers to this single surviving specimen as holotype.
