Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Kenya: Nairobi, 7.ix.1945 (S. Patrizi). Primary type depository: IEUB (or perhaps EZGT). Type notes: Consani, 1951 cites IEUB as depository of Parasyscia kenyensis, but Baroni Urbani & de Andrade, 2003a: 282, found the holotype of another Consani species in EZGT.
