Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) worker. Primary type locality: Argentina: Salta (C. Bruch). Primary type depository: MHNG. Type notes: 1) No indication of number of specimens is given. 2) Borgmeier, 1959b: 381, says that syntypes are present in Bruch’s collection (MACN, MLPA) and in MZSP, as well as Forel’s specimen in MHNG, but the original description suggests that only a single worker was present.
