Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 81, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 19, cites 55 worker syntypes (6 in MCZC, 47 in MHNG, 1 in NHMB, 1 in OXUM). 3) Ulysséa et al., 2025: Table 2, cite CASENT0909635 as a syntype of Azteca goeldii. However, it is a syntype of Azteca huberi, from Brazil: Tefé, nr Pará.
