Primary type information: Primary type material: 2 syntype workers. Primary type locality: France or Spain: Pyrenees, “without any other indication of locality” (Pandellé). Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: Emery, 1925c: 14, says the syntypes are in MNHN (one with head missing), but Seifert, 2012b: 103, could not find them there, nor in MSNG.
