Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers, syntype queens, syntype males (numbers not stated). Primary type locality: Argentina: Catamarca, Ampajango, 12.xii.1920 (V. Weiser). Primary type depositories: MACN, MHNG, MLPA, NHMB. Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 84, cites 1 worker, 2 queen, 1 male syntypes in NHMB. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 84, cites 3 worker, 3 queen, 2 male syntypes (2w, 1q, 1m MHNG, 1w, 2q, 1m NHMB). 3) Both Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 84, and Shattuck, 1994: 84, mention a holotype worker, but no such nomination was made by Bruch, 1921.
