Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Costa Rica: Heredia, La Selva Research Station, x.1972 (M. Lloyd). Primary type depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 14 paratype workers from Costa Rica, 2 paratype workers from Nicaragua: El Tuma, and paratype from Honduras: Corocito, Lancetilla and forest behind Lancetilla - number not stated. Secondary type locality: paratypes with same data as holotype but “various dates spread through 1972 (M. Lloyd)”, and i.1973 (W.L. Brown). Secondary type depositories: BMNH, CUIC, MCZC, MNHN, MZSP, USNM.
