Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype male. Primary type locality: St Vincent and the Grenadines: St Vincent I. (L. Guilding). Primary type depository: unknown (presumed lost; not in BMNH or OXUM). Type notes: 1) Borgmeier, 1955: 598, cites material in BMNH, MHNG, MSNG, and MZSP, saying, “I consider them all to be neotypes”; incorrect procedure which leaves a neotype still to be designated. 2) According to Horn & Kahle, 1936: 258, Shuckard’s collection was auctioned by J.C. Stevens (London).
