Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker-queen intercaste. Primary type locality: South Sudan (“Anglo-Egyptian Sudan”): Imatong Mts, Lotti Forest, 5.viii, No. 1445a (N.A. Weber). Primary type depository: MCZC. Type notes: Holotype is a worker-queen intercaste, not a worker as stated in the original description (Bolton, 2007b: 28).
