Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Cuba: Baracoa, 1917-18 (W.M. Mann) (by restriction of Kempf, 1972b: 210). Primary type depositories: AMNH, USNM. Type notes: 1) Other original syntype localities: Cuba: Piedra Gorda, and Pinares, 1917-18 (W.M. Mann). 2) This taxon (Zatania albimaculata) is based on Zatania gibberosa Roger, 1863a, sensu Mann, 1920b: 433, misidentification.
