Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 79, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 33, cites 16 worker, 6 queen, 3 male syntypes (3 workers, 2 queens in MCZC, 7 workers, 2 queens, 1 male in MHNG, 1 worker in NHMB, 5 workers, 2 queens, 2 males in OXUM). 3) Shattuck, 1994 also cites specimens from Lion Mill, which are not type-material.
