Primary type information: Primary type material: 4 syntype workers. Primary type localities: 2 workers (one damaged) Guyana (“Guyane anglaise”): Kartabo, vii.-viii.1920 (W.M. Wheeler), 2 workers Brazil: Pará (W.M. Mann). Primary type depository: NHMB (perhaps also MCZC). Type notes: Baroni Urbani, 1973b: 128, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB, as ‘holotype’.
