Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Japan: Gifu Pref., Gifu-shi, Takasu-cho, Nishibora (830 m.), 11.x.2011 (K. Kinomura & N. Ogawa). Primary type depository: NIAS. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 4 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen. Secondary type localities: 3 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen with same data as holotype, 1 paratype worker Japan: Hiroshima Pref., Mt Hiba-san, 5.v.1992 (B.-M. Choi). Secondary type depositories: NIAS, NMNT.
