Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype male. Primary type locality: Australia: South Australia, Murat Bay (no collector’s name). Primary type depository: MCZC. Type notes: 1) The specimen was redundantly designated lectotype by Brown, 1975: 65, but Wheeler, 1918a had stated that the taxon was “Described from a single specimen”. 2) A second “defective” male is mentioned by Wheeler, 1918a, from South Australia, Ardrossan (J.G.O. Tepper), in SAMA.
