Primary type locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): Mazaruni River, nr Forest Settlement, 25-26.viii.1935 and 2.ix.1935 (N.A. Weber). Primary type depository: MCZC (perhaps also in AMNH). Type notes: Other syntype locality: Guyana: Courantyne basin, Oronoque River, 22.vii.1936 (N.A. Weber).
