Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) worker. Primary type locality: Japan: Gumma-ken Mts, Nebasawa, nr Oze Pass, 1930 (H. Yoshioka). Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: 1) Original description implies a single specimen. 2) Original description says “Type, in the author’s collection”, presumably Kiryu College of Technology (now Gunma University), Gunma Pref., Kiryu. Japan.
