Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: South Africa: Kimberley (G. Arnold). Primary type depositories: BMNH, NHMB (probably also in SAMC). Primary type specimen: CASENT0902213. Type notes: 1) Type locality not “Rhodesia” as printed. 2) Santschi, 1920d says that the material came from the South African Museum.
