Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype male (by designation of Borgmeier, 1955: 373). Primary type locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): vic. Kartabo, 20-21.vii.1920, and 28.vii.1920 (C.W. Beebe), and with same data but (W.M. Wheeler). Primary type depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: paralectotype workers, paralectotype males (numbers not stated).
