Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated), 1 syntype male. Primary type locality: Argentina: Córdoba, Alta Gracia, no. Q 1 (C. Bruch). Primary type depositories: NHMB, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Santschi, 1934c mentions workers and a male from Argentina: Santa Fé, Fives Lille (V. Weiser) as referable to Neivamyrmex raptans rebellatum, but these are not included in the original description; not type material. 2) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 70, cites 23 workers, 1 male in NHMB from Fives Lille (as ‘syntypes’); not type material. 3) Mônica Antunes Ulysséa cites 1 worker in MZSP.
