Primary type locality: Australia: Queensland, Byfield (22°51’S, 150°39’E), near Yeppoon, 60 m., 26.x.1976, acc. 76.210, disturbed rainforest (R.W. Taylor & T.A. Weir). Primary type depository: ANIC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 34 paratype workers, 11 paratype queens. Secondary type locality: 14 paratype workers, 3 paratype queens with same data as holotype, 20 paratype workers, 8 paratype queens with same data as holotype but acc. 76.197, and acc. 76.209. Secondary type depositories: ANIC, BMNH, MCZC, MHNG, MNHU, QMBA.
