Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: Kingstown (W.W. Froggatt). Primary type depository: MHNG (perhaps also MVMA). Primary type specimen: CASENT0907100. Type notes: 1) Clark, 1943: 142, says he redescribed this taxon from a cotype “received some years ago from Mr. Froggatt”. 2) Clark, 1943 adds “locality label on the cotype states King’s Sound 142 in Froggatt’s writing. This is undoubtedly an error as this form is found plentiful around Kingstown and Uralla in New South Wales”.
