Solenopsis globularia subsp. pacifica Wheeler, 1919d: 273 (w.m.) ECUADOR (Galapagos Is). Neotropic.

Primary type information: Primary type material: 13 syntype workers, 4 syntype males. Primary type locality: Ecuador: Galapagos Is, Albemarle I. (= Isabela I.) (“Albatross 1899”). Primary type depositories: CASC, MCZC, USNM. Type notes: Wheeler, 1919d also mentions as “cotypes” 2 specimens Albemarle I., no. 446 (probably F.X. Williams) in CASC, and 6 specimens (presumably with same data as last) in MCZC.
