Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Seifert, 1991b: 71). Primary type locality: neotype Sweden: S: B1, Johannishus, 1 km. NE k: a, RN-03F6f03, 10.viii.1974 (P. Douwes). Primary type depository: ZMLS. Type notes: 1) Original type data: holotype (?) worker, “Habitat in Europae” (no further data), depository presumably ZMLS, material lost. 2) Type locality Sweden, indicated by Linnaeus, 1761: 427. 3) Day & Fitton, 1978: 196, found no material in LSLC.
