Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Colombia: Valle, Mun. Buenaventura, 4.5 km. above R. Aguaclara on old road to Cali, 17-19.vi.1971 (W.L. Brown, S. Chaplin, R.B. Root, C. Pearson). Primary type depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 13 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens, 2 paratype males. Secondary type depositories: CASC, IAVH, LACM, MCZC, MIZA, MZSP, USNM, WEMC.
