Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) worker. Primary type locality: Australia: N Western Australia, Jigalong, no. 480 (J. Hickmer). Primary type depository: OXUM (perhaps also MVMA). Type notes: No indication of number of specimens is given, but Clark, 1936: 87, says he redescribed this taxon from a ‘cotype’.
