Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Brazil: Bahia, km. 22 on Ilhéus-Itabuna Road (BR 415) 16.vi.1986 (J. Delabie). Type-depository: MZSP. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 3 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: 1 paratype worker with same data as holotype, 2 paratype workers with same data as holotype but 3.xii.1987. Paratype-depositories: MCZC, MZSP.
