Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Indonesia: Sulawesi (“Celebes”), Tondano, “Tond” (A.R. Wallace). Primary type depository: OXUM. Type notes: 1) Donisthorpe, 1932c: 468, cites 1 worker in OXUM (confirmed by Bolton (unpublished notes) 1978). 2) A second specimen in OXUM, labelled “Tond 9,” is identical to the holotype but the slight difference in data may indicate that it is not from the same sample (Bolton (unpublished notes) 1978).
