Primary type information: Primary type material: 113 syntype workers, 4 syntype queens. Primary type locality: U.S.A.: Minnesota, nr Jenkins, 11.viii.1941 (W.F. Buren). Primary type depositories: ISUI, LACM, MCZC, USNM, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Wing, 1968a: 138, mentions a holotype queen, but no holotype designation was made in the original description. 2) Buren, 1942 comments that there are also “a few paratypes in the collection of Herbert T. Dalmat of New York City”, whereabouts unknown.
