Leptogenys (Lobopelta) binghamii Forel, 1900f: 310 (w.) MYANMAR. Indomalaya.

Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Myanmar (“Burma”): (no further data) (C.T. Bingham). Primary type depository: MHNG (perhaps also OXUM). Type notes: 1) Bingham, 1903: 66, gives locality data as “Upper Burma: Tenasserim, Karennee (C.T. Bingham)”, which is probably the type locality. 2) Hamer et al., 2024: 179, erroneously refer to an ergatoid queen collected by M. T. Hamer in Hong Kong on 3.ix.2023 and deposited in IBBL as a paratype.
