Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: Congo (“Congo français”): Brazzaville, ii.1907 (A. Weiss). Primary type depository: NHMB. Primary type specimen: CASENT0913017. Type notes: Holotype mostly lost; only the gaster and one forewing remain on the mount (Bolton, 1982: 337).
