Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1978b: 512, cites 126 worker, 2 queen syntypes (3w ACHC, 6w BMNH, 6w MCZC, 2w MSNG, 6w NHMB, 103w, 2q USNM). 2) Baroni Urbani, 1978b also points out that various syntypes are labelled nigrinodis, nigronodis, rugeinodis (all nomina nuda), as well as atrinodis, and some are labelled squamifera.
