Primary type locality: Bahamas: New Providence I., road from Grant’s Town to the Blue Hills, nr Nassau, 25.vi.1904, in Cladium jamaicense (W.M. Wheeler). Primary type depositories: AMNH, MCZC, MHNG, MSNG, NHMB, USNM. Type notes: Baroni Urbani, 1978b: 508, records as syntypes 16 workers, 2 queens, 4 males; probably more exist.
