Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 85, cites 2 male syntypes in NHMB. 2) Radchenko, 2016: 91, and Radchenko et al., 2024: 285, cite 10 worker, 4 queen, 16 male syntypes in SIZK. 3) On the same page Radchenko, 2016 apparently associates the syntypes to Tapinoma subboreale, but makes no formal statement of synonymy under the heading of the latter name (p. 90).
