Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Georgia: Dmanisi, 29.v.1966 (Ya. Dzhambazishvili). Primary type depository: ZMUM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 15 paratype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: RASM, ZMUM. Type notes: Arnol'di, 1968b also mentions workers from Georgia: Shiraki (T.I. Zhizhilashvili), and 10 workers from Azerbaijan: Alpout (G.M. Dlussky); it is not obvious if these should also be regarded as paratypes.
