Cardiocondyla stambuloffi subsp. taurica Karavaiev, 1927a: 288, fig. 2 (w.) UKRAINE (Crimea). Palearctic.

Primary type information: Primary type material: 11 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Ukraine: Crimea, Janitschary Bay beach, nr Koktebel, 29.ix.-17.x.1919, no. 2818 (Karawajew). Primary type depositories: SIZK, ZISP. Primary type specimen: CASENT0916970 Type notes: Seifert, 2003a: 263, gives syntype data as 16.vi.1920, no. 4357, which do not agree with the date and collection number provided in the original description.
